TERRAZAS DEL SOL This 2nd floor apartment on the new development of Terrazas del Sol has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can sleep 2-6 people. Terrazas del Sol is situated in the upper part of Riviera del sol, (next to Calahonda) with uninterrupted views of the coast and the sea. (CLICK ON THE 'MORE PICTURES' ABOVE TO SEE THE VIEWS). On arrival in Riviera clients are met by our local manager to escort them to the apartment. As the Costa del Sol benefits from over 300 days of sunshine a year, and this apartment benefits from the sun all day into the early evening, it can be enjoyed on the terrace which has been comfortably furnished to give a second living area, or by one of the two fenced in swimming pools or the large grassed area. The terrace has a large overhang to provide shade during the hottest parts of the day if required, and we ask that guest smoke on the terrace for the comfort of other users of the apartment. Utensils and crockery are supplied as if you were at home. UTILITY ROOM - A washing machine and equipment is supplied MASTER BEDROOM - Extra large king size bed, however this can be made into 2 single beds if requested as they can be unzipped. There is a large fitted wardrobe, ceiling fan and draw space. The French doors lead directy onto the terrace. ENSUITE BATHROOM - Bath with shower over, bidet, WC & toilet GUEST DOUBLE BEDROOM - 2 single beds, however these can be zipped together to make a kingsize bed if requested. El Zoko commercial centre in Calahonda on the upper floor has an area built around an open courtyard,which has restaurants from all around the world, most having areas to dine outside. For those who need to use their laptops there is extensive WiFi coverage in the area with notices showing where this is. At the bottom of Riviera there is a park, shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and a taxi rank. The Aztec Country Club a short walk from the shops provides an Olympic size swimming pool, tennis, badminton, gym, games room and internet centre, as well as food and entertainment. GOLF - Riviera has its own 18 hole golf course- Miraflores Golf, which has a club house, driving range and golf. academy. A short drive from the apartment a new golf course opened in the upper part of Riviera this year - Calanova Golf. A SHORT DRIVE FROM RIVIERA FUENGIROLA with its long sandy beach front, is very popular and there is an Aquapark, Zoo and Go Carting. BENALMADENA- There is the Beach front area, the traditional white village of Benalmadena Pueblo up in the hills, and Benalmadena Harbour with its shops and restaurants (some in an elevated walkway around the marina),and boat trips. In this area is Sealife and Tivoli World Amusement park. MIJAS - This famous white village is set up in the mountains above Fuengirolla, and is a must to visit. GOLF- There are over 30 prestigious golf courses on the Costa Del Sol and due to the good weather, golfers are able to play all year round. A new course - Calanova Golf opened at the end of last year this is only a five minute drive from the apartment. Information on where to book your golf etc can be found on our website. BEACHES- Riviera has its own beach with Max Beach restaurant and bars direcly on to the beach. However the favourite beach is at Puerto Cabopino which is only a couple of minutes down the coast, here you will find a large stretch of sandy beach with shallow water for children, plenty of sun loungers to hire, water activities and beach bars/cafe directly onto the beach. The small marina has numerous restaurants around it including the famous Alberts. GETTING AROUND - We strongly recommend hiring a car although the taxi service is very good and reasonable and will pick you up from your apartment. The local buses are also very good.
